This weekend, Oct. 4th and 5th, I will be at the John C. Campbell Folk School (folkschool.org) for their annual Fall Festival.  I will be demonstrating hewing and carving on the front porch of the woodcarving studio both days from 10:00am 'til 5:00pm.  Please stop by and visit if you are in the area.  

I will also be teaching a class on hewing and carving spoons at Asheville Hardware (ashevillehardware.com)on October 24th and 25th.  a class description is available on their website.
